Dartington hives represent the consolidation of a number of design ideas honed through years of beekeeping experience.  Pioneered by Robin Dartington in the UK this hive design works with the bees' natural colony development, is easier to work with than standard hives, introduces less disturbance when inspecting brood, and enables 2 colonies to be managed from one hive.
